What it does
Draw with finger or Pencil
A clean page and your finger — or Apple Pencil. Each note can be portrait or landscape; turn your device to view a landscape note like a photo.
Notebooks & search
Group pages into notebooks, sort by date or name, switch between icon and list views, and search by title.
Trash & restore
Deleted pages go to the Trash, where you can restore them or remove them for good.
Private iCloud sync
Your notes sync across your devices through your own private iCloud. They never touch our servers — because we don't have any.
Backup & share
Export a backup, or share a whole notebook as a file, using the standard share sheet. Your data, under your control.
No accounts, no tracking
No sign-up, no ads, no analytics. Nothing to manage and nothing collected.
Free and Pro
Jots is free to download, and the free app is complete for a single notebook: unlimited pages, every drawing tool, private iCloud sync, backup and share, and the Trash.
Jots Pro — a one-time purchase, no subscription, with Family Sharing — adds unlimited notebooks, tags, smart notebooks such as Recently Modified, custom page backgrounds, and read-only page locks — including Auto‑Lock, which locks a finished page automatically when you leave it.
